Transfer from the airport to our main office in town.

Upon arrival to Pto. Maldonado City, our Transfer or guide will welcome you and drive you for a few minutes to our office in tow, in our office we recommend you pack only the necessary stuff you need for the next few days, the main luggage can stay at our safe deposit. Transportation is easier that way.

To ensure the efficiency of our boat operations and porter services, we offer the option of utilizing a duffel bag from our office. This step helps to keep cargo weight manageable and enhances your overall travel experience.

Transfer from our office to Tambopata River Port.

We embark on a picturesque journey along the Tambopata River, gently navigating its waters for approximately 2 hours until we reach Finca Sachavacayoc.

During this tranquil voyage, there's the delightful opportunity to observe a variety of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for the chance to spot vibrant birds, elusive caimans, graceful capybaras, and playful monkeys – a true treat for nature enthusiasts and animal lovers alike.

Accommodation and a Little rest.

Following a brief respite, we'll embark on a jungle walk—an ideal introduction to the natural world, acquainting ourselves with the forest's interior. As night falls, we'll engage in a thrilling nocturnal adventure, searching for elusive creatures such as the remarkable ground bird-eating Tarantula, an astonishing arachnid that can be as large as your hand.

We'll explore a true marvel of the natural world: the awe-inspiring Chuncho clay-lick. This grand spectacle holds the distinction of being the world's largest, where three major macaw species convene simultaneously. Here, various parrot species also gather in great numbers, creating a captivating scene as hundreds of them partake in the unique behavior of consuming clay. This distinctive phenomenon is exclusive to this corner of the Earth.

Setting off at 4 am, we ensure an early start for an optimal experience at the parrot show. Two hours on our upstream boat journey along the Tambopata River allows us to reach the destination before the birds' activity peaks. Breakfast will be served onboard for your convenience.

As we make our way to the clay-lick, keep your eyes peeled for encounters with captivating wildlife. The chance to spot Capybaras, Caymans, and if fortune favors, even the Jaguar or Tapirs—the Amazon's most exceptional terrestrial mammals—adds to the excitement of the journey.

Gather back at the lodge for a satisfying lunch.

After a rejuvenating break, we prepare ourselves for an adventure at the untouched Condenado Lake. Just an hour away from the lodge (allowing for leisurely observation), Condenado Lake boasts remarkable wildlife sightings, including monkeys, caimans, abundant Hoatzin birds, and the majestic spectacle of macaws flying towards their roosting spots. This secluded haven also offers a promising opportunity to catch a glimpse of the elusive and shy Anaconda. Here, a one-of-a-kind jungle encounter unfolds, exclusively for us, with no other presence in this pristine lake setting.

Arriving in the evening, we promptly board a paddle canoe to leisurely explore the depths of the untamed jungle. As daylight wanes, we'll have the chance to observe the lively antics of monkeys and the vibrant calls of macaws echoing through the surroundings.

On our journey back, we return to the lodge for a captivating night walk, seeking out wildlife or simply relishing the blend of eerie, romantic, intense, and harmoniously noisy elements that define the jungle after dark

After breakfast, we'll embark on a journey to the breathtaking Lake Sachavacayoc, nestled at the heart of the Tambopata National Reserve. A leisurely two-hour walk away from the lodge, this exploration will be filled with observations of the natural world around us.

Sachavacayoc is teeming with diverse wildlife, including monkeys, caimans, and the potential to spot tapirs and Anacondas. The enchanting presence of Hoatzin birds and the vivid blue and yellow macaws, scattered across the landscape for nesting and roosting, adds to the richness of this experience, offering a unique immersion in the jungle.

Upon reaching our destination in the mid-morning, we'll promptly board a paddle canoe to delve into the depths of this pristine wilderness. Amidst the vibrant calls of monkeys and macaws, you'll be able to leisurely take in the natural wonders of the area. This activity spans the entire day, accompanied by a boxed lunch that grants you ample time to search for Anacondas and spider monkeys.

On our journey back to the lodge, we'll traverse through the profound jungle setting, an opportunity to seek out Caymans along the river's edge before dinner.
